Hello and welcome to my gallery.
My name is Bernadette, aka MzSardonicus and when I'm not singing with my band, Mainline Gypsy you can find me with my camera or at my computer working on my photos.
I've been practicing photography for more than 15 years. I got started when I purchased a Canon T50 at a pawn shop on Eighth Avenue in New York City. Then in 2007, I received my first digital, purchased Adobe Elements and have been having a ball ever since.
Living in New York City provides access to many facets of life and millions of stories. These photos are little pieces of my world and moments in time.
I like to think that I am a keen observer. Specializing in capturing moments and images that grab the imagination and sometimes the heart, I very rarely plan my shots. Rather, I take my camera and wait for the shot to present itself. It's a very spontaneous way of living, which I enjoy immensely. There are great photos all around you. You just have to look.
Thank you once again for stopping by. I hope you enjoy my work.
